アメリカのIT大手マイクロソフトは6日、家庭用ゲーム機「Xbox」関連部門の3200人を含む、およそ4800人の人員削減を行うと明らかにしました。
マイクロソフトは、AI関連の巨額投資を進めている中で、従業員向けのメッセージで「今回削減される職務はAIに取って代わられるものではない」と説明しました。
その一方で、「AIが仕事のやり方を変えているのは事実」とも言っています。
