フィリピン沿岸警備隊によりますと、今月9日にフィリピン西部の沖合でフェリーが炎上した事故で、亡くなった人が76人となったことが分かりました。
フェリーからはこれまでに40人以上が救出された一方で、現在も13人の行方が分かっていません。
船内にいた犬1匹も救助されたということです。
