26日、イギリスのスターマー政権はおよそ260億ポンド、5兆4000億円規模の増税が盛り込まれた政府予算案を公表しました。
3年前のトラス政権が打ち出した大幅減税策は「トラスショック」と呼ばれる通貨・国債・株式のトリプル安を引き起こしました。
財政規律を守らなければ再び市場が反発するのではないかという警戒からスターマー政権としては2年連続の大幅増税になりました。
